David B Farris Chief Technical Officer

As a founder of OneSmartConference, David Farris has over twenty years of technical and executive management expertise.  Over the past 10 years Farris has worked with numerous startup companies throughout the southeast. Prior to that he was Founder, President, and CEO of Telinet Technologies in Atlanta, Georgia, where he raised over $5 million in capital to develop a commercial Internet-based unified messaging product.  This innovative product which was acquired by Northern Telecom combined voice, fax, and email messaging which could be accessed either of the telephone or through a web browser and had scalability into the millions.

Prior to founding Telinet Technologies, Farris served as Vice President of Research & Development at Boca Research (NASDAQ: BOCI) in Boca Raton, Florida.  Farris led the developement staff to pioneer new technologies in data communications, hardware engineering, product lifecycle software development, internet architecture and applications, internet marketing, and eCommerce.  While at Boca Research, Farris led the development of Boca’s industry-leading high-speed modems, which contributed to Boca Research’s growth from 28 employees to 320 and from $9 million in annual revenue to $220 million during his tenure.
